Sufficient Ways To Slack Off

  1. Write a blog
  2. Make shadow puppets on the wall
  3. Continuously snack
  4. Surf music on the Internet
  5. Text random people
  6. Doodle
  7. Stare at the wall
  8. Make playlists

If you keep up the hard work, you might not be done until tomorrow!

I Am Indecisive

I wish I'm hot when I'm cold. I wish I'm cold when I'm hot. I wish I'm awake when I'm asleep. I wish I'm asleep when I'm awake.

New

Go on to any news site, CNN, Time, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and they all say the same things. This is crap. Either we all need new news or new writers.

A Marathon of Events

I don't know how many movies you have to watch to officially count as a marathon but 3 is my minimum. In honor of Patrick Swayze, I decided to have a movie marathon... of Patrick Swayze.
The movie lineup proceeded as:
1.) Break Point- Rugged bad guy surfer Swayze. Not Keanu Reeves's best movie.
2.) Youngblood- Another one with Reeves but Rob Lowe plays a much better pretty boy. I'm not much of a fan of sports movies but I made this one an exception for the night.
3.) Dirty Dancing- Gotta love a guy who can dance the pachanga. Jennifer Gray pre nose job.

I should of watched Ghost...

An Alternative Lifestyle

Eating a peanut butter sandwich may seem like a time saving alternative to lunch but it inexplicably has a few adverse side effects. Heading towards my fifth day in a row of peanut butter lunch madness, I have come to a few conclusions.

1.) Nausea- Normally a peanut butter lover, by the time the third day rolls around, the thought of another sandwich could make a sea captain nauseous.

2.) Cravings- You eat your lunch slowly, disdain filled in every bite. As you swallow, you dream of other things like a panini, hot soup, or even jello.

3.) Mood Swings- While it may not happen on the first day, or even the second, a pool a bad feelings begin to bubble inside of you. Grumpiness sticks you like peanut butter on the roof of your mouth and it may take all day to wear away.

While living a peanut butter life style may sound like being pregnant, I can assure you, it's not. My advice? Stick to eating peanut butter sandwiches occasionally to avoid said side effects. Or if you are feeling crazy, throw in a few slices of bananas or apples, or maybe both. Both options can adhere to your love of peanut butter without overdoing it.

Why Yes, You Are In Charge

Her black stilettos click across the linoleum floors. Every time one of those hourglass heals come down, another second seems to coast by. As she passes, you roll your eyes- behind her, inconspicuous but still alert. She looks back; you smirk. It is when she takes another glance, you realize how hard she tries.

It Was Good

Today for lunch I ate an eggplant panini. It was good.

An Unexpected Accomplishment

Now that my dear summer is finally over and I am back to my same old tiring routine, I decided to do a silent recap of my vacation during classes. By far, one of the most exciting realities I came across was that I had worn socks only 4 days this whole summer. Congrats to me! I think I will shoot for three next summer.

Waking Up Early Makes Me Grumpy

There comes a time during the middle of the summer that I actually have the urge to go to school and socialize with people who I mostly don't like. The feeling doesn't last long and is usually a symptom of boredom or loneliness. Now at the start of school, that urge isn't even the faintest glimmer in my eye. Welcome back.

Advise

A few weeks ago, I made my way up to the Met for some casual touring. Never having been there before, I made sure my camera was fully charged and free of any surplus pictures that might take up any extra camera space. Every picture is precious when going to a museum. Starting at the large stone stair case, leading to the entrance, I started snapping my camera away at everything and anything. The real adventure however, started when I made my way into the Greek and Roman exhibit. Needless to say, I went picture happy and by the time I had ventured to every corner of the museum, I had not room for one more photo.

My style of touring has been and will probably always be, take as many pictures as possible so I can relive the experience again when I review my gallery. I never gave much thought to my weird habits and those of others until some hair-brained woman started talking to me about one particular painting. It wasn't a long conversation for we were both in a hurry to move on, or perhaps, to get away from each other.

"Wanna know how to see if a museum is any good or not?"

"Er, sure?"

"Go around and take as many pictures of dogs as you can find and then when you go home you can see if you had a good day or not."

"Uhuh"

I think it is safe to say that I will be sticking to my own methods from now on.

Its a Blustery Day

I feel the winds a changin and the last remnants of summer fleeting the air. I'm pulling out my autumn jackets and packing away my worn shorts for the start of another season . I think I'm falling for fall.
